So far I ve received two calls from this number within 24hrs after an online enquiry for broadband & phone with EE. I was just "shopping around" for a better deal. I don t think I ll bother to look any further now if this is what s going to happen as a result, with endless and unauthorised telesales calls. Always press 9 to remove from caller list but keeps phoning. When I connected I asked 11 times to be removed from their database they just kept asking why I didn t want the money I m owed. Asked to speak to supervisor told he was a supervisor, this needs reporting to ofcom.

SCAM An automated voice was saying that I've just purchased iPhone and the amount of over £1000 will be deducted from the card associated with my personal Amazon account, it asked me to choose the option to confirm the transaction or speak to an adviser. I have logged into my Amazon account, there is no such order placed. I also have checked my bank account, no pending transactions. I haven't received any notification from the bank about activities on my account.

When I 1471 d I got the number 0161 918 0023. On calling the number, I am informed that "This number is temporarily out of order"! Can someone please explain to me the legality of this?
