SCAM Someone with an Indian accent called stating they were calling from Microsoft Windows about hackers using my email. They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. They told me that hackers were using my computer and that I was not to use my computer and to take it down to their offices in Reading!

Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. Automated voice call said "this is your bank calling. There have been two transactions on your account this morning, one from Amazon and one from ........ for £1000.00. ...As you have no previous transactions with these companies ...press 1 to cancel, or talk to us, or 2 to...." I did not press anything and hung up. This is appears to be a dangerous banking scam/fraud.

SCAM. I received a recorded phone msg from 02089876951 It was a woman who spoke very fast saying my visa card had been used for two large amounts of money this morning. I tried to find the above number, which wasn't found. If it had been my bank or building society, I would have been able to who called me. I think it's a 100% scam.

Wanting to know what my cover was and who it was being left to and that they could lower my payments and increase my cover. Asked them who they were.phinong on behalf of! Not my life insurance company ???? contacted my insurance company who conformed they do not use brokers and to always use them direct for anything
