I received a call from someone claiming to be from "blockchain". Very hostile. Clearly a scam. Also, got the wrong name when they called.

I had the same phone call and pretty much word for word with the above comment. Checked number and saw comments. These people are dangerous.

Premium rate that I didn’t dial but charged me £16 for a 3 minute call

Automated message stating that two amounts of money have been taken from my bank account and I should push '3' to stop it. Scam call and dangerous. This call has been made somewhere in the Gatwick area.

Complete scam - saying from virgin media re download speed of internet. They advise opening an ap to check speed then download another ap - DONT - could not confirm any virgin details like account number or services I receive only name and postcode. PLEASE DONT FALL FOR IT NEWCASTLE UPON TUNE

My mother has been contacted many times on this and other phone numbers. The message, from the caller is always the same, she tells my mother, first in English and then in Chinese that she has a package waiting for her, to collect from the Chinese embassy. This is clearly a scam call.

This is a cold caller first thing in the morning, asking what i had in my loft. Denied being a cold caller or nuisance caller. Saying i would benefit from this call. Which i understand to be against the law to do un the UK. I demanded to know where she got my details from. She said it was from the.. P.. Somethinf data base company.. So probabky paid for it.... SCAM Fraud Said she was my local energy adviser and were arranging for someone to come round and check how much energy I was using. There was talk of checking my roof was tickety-boo and placing a solar panel. I told her I am not interested and she aggressively asked if I were the homeowner. Suspicious because the speaker sounded Indian or Asian and wanted to access my computer to ascertain its security. Said they were from TomTom but I felt very uneasy.

Scam call about errors from Virgin media... Usual scam crap!

The I’ve lost my phone, mum. WhatsApp my new number scam! (I haven’t got any children!) Didn’t open message.

They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.
