Rings me 4/5 times a day. Only answered today and the lady asked for the account holder. I said to her that I knew it was a scam and she hung up. Now I only get a call 1/2 times a day. very sad.

Had a call about our washing machine warranty being out of date. He rang off when I asked a few questions about their company [difficult to hear what he said at this point] and how he came by his information. Usual garbage, but sounded British. This might be a follow up from a so-called survey I foolishly agreed to go through a few days ago - and during which I asked NOT to be contacted from, I assume, the people instigating it in the first place. saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

Got a call from this number saying they were from The Guardian. I asked what they were calling for and they said they wanted to give me an free newspaper. I politely declined and bid them goodbye.

kept ringing, hung up. its a computer calling many homes at once, and when you pick up, if they have staff available they will talk. if no staff, the call hangs up and calls another 100+ homes. very annoying. if not a scam, probably selling junk or ppi that you wouldnt have bought otherwise. AVOID
