Called my son saying they were from HMRC wanting a payment and to press number 1, he didn't as knew this wasn't HMRC, as it's for a Dental practice in London. Obviously it's a fraudulent company using their number via the Web.

Bogus number claiming to be GOV.UK and containing links for claiming fuel rebate

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! When I challenged him again, and told him that he was calling from abroad, and at that point he hung up on me. This just confirms my suspension tha

SCAM . Put the phone down on Leeds number which was a sounded like a scam - claiming to be fron O2. Rang me back straight away on this number. Clearly spoofing number ID.

A lady with a very strong accent told me she was from Microsoft and was ringing about a problem with my computer, I told her I had had these calls before and did not believe her.

Man with good English African voice, knew my first name and claimed to be from my property repairs. Clearly he was a liar as he had no connection to my area nor the my property ownership.

TAXES / HMRC Automated call Fraud Ai voice stated the call was from hmrc, about a supposed letter from them that was returned, that I'm now facing legal action and press 1 to continue. Hung up at this point

Woman said " This is your Bank security, we have had 2 charges made to your card, One for £300 and one for £1,100 to companies you have not used before. Press 1 if you did not authorise these ! An obvious nasty scam call. Never, never press keys when asked to by unknown callers !!! Whoever is using this number should be traced and stopped!

Says they are from O2 and told me that I am getting a massive discount on my contract as I've been with them for so long. The funny thing is, I'm not even with O2 and as soon as I pointed this out (while laughing) they immediately hung up.

SCAM some lady purported to be from Amazon phoned about my Prime Ac with the option to pay or cancel the membership and asked to press 1 to cancel or speak to customer service.. i saw it was a mobile number so it had to be fake and I told them i would do it online i tried to call back to find out who they are but they do not answer the phone i called amazon and they confirmed it was a scam

SPAM - Indian call centre called my mobile at 9:40am. I'm not the do-not-call list so they shouldn't be calling.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. He advised he was cancelling my debit card, and could not send me a new one without those details, and that a fraudulent purchase had been made with my card. Hung up, and phoned my bank, who advised it was an attempt to steal my card details. Beware, never give out details unless you have made the call to a verified number.Fraud

The number 0731519223 rang me at 6.30pm Australian time & the caller used some very nasty language ie "You are nothing but a f-----g c--t" over & over numerous times. This s not acceptable in this day & age. I am male & I am so glad my wife didn't answer the phone & be subjected to such filth.
