Person of asian origin said he was from Currys, asked does he mean the electronic retailer no reply given he then went in to retirick regards mobile networks, blocked the number as I have had quite a few of these type of calls over the last couple of months.
They keep calling for past resident in my home for the past 2 years. I tell them he has moved out and they hang up. Very rude company.

Claimed they were calling from my bank but never told me which bank. Their claim was my account had been scammed with two transactions for large amounts over £1000,00 and they needed to authorise the payments.
Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.

Received a call from this number this morning, i let it go to answering machine ( landline) and no message was left, then called beeped & ended. Very suspicious call I felt.
Scam Clearly. They state they are Eon. Then waste no time asking for personal information. I told the woman who spoke in broken English that she was a scammer and ended the call. She never called back. She will continue to look for gullible people. Sadly there are many of those. Her next victim may be a pensioner & easy prey
Got a call from this number this morning. Silent call. I suspect scammers may be impersonating this number. The number is legit, it's a genuine company, but it could be scammers are spoofing their real number and stealing their number to look like this one instead.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! SCAM - when I answered the number, it quickly turned to music as if waiting in a queue (similar to waiting to talk to your drs). So I rang it back and it said “sorry this number doesn’t exist”! I had been called by 0161 818 4494 and by 0161 818 4493 it was same for both they do not exist. So I took the last number off changing it to 0161 818 449 when I rang it said the same, it doesn’t exist! I think this is a number used by a company who cold call trying to sell you something, that’s my thought on this.
