SCAM - automated call claiming that 'Due to unauthorised use, your internet will be disconnected' and to hold on the line to speak to a call handler. Caller with Indian accent claimed to be from 'Cyber Security Dept' that deals with security issues for all the service providers including BT. Starts by asking me if I have given my password to anyone and what devices I currently have connected. After giving her some bogus answers, I put her on hold and disconnected the call after 5mins. Definitely SCAM!
SCAM Automated call with American accent saying a criminal case has been logged against you with HMRC for tax evasion/fraud. HANG UP! I checked HMRC website and its a fraud!

Claiming to be offering me a guaranteed upgrade as a Three customer (I am with Three). Asked where calling from, but didn t get it. I said this was a cold call, my number is TPS registered and to remove from database, then hung up.
Totally unknown, I answered the phone and it was completely silent at the caller’s end.

SPAM - told me I had high energy usage which is not true and wanted to find me a new supplier
I called the number back and knew I was connected as the clock on my phone was showing how long my connection was. As no human or recorded voice answered I hung up. This was at 9:54 pm.

He rang off when I asked a few questions about their company [difficult to hear what he said at this point] and how he came by his information. Usual garbage, but sounded British. This might be a follow up from a so-called survey I foolishly agreed to go through a few days ago - and during which I asked NOT to be contacted from, I assume, the people instigating it in the first place. They rang off as I answered and I got the recorded announcement as Hal1 when I returned their call: DM Marketing. I note that dmmarketing.co.uk has been suspended by the registrar, although I have no idea why.
