I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! To be hones't I wondered if this was some dirty trick Eon had dreamed up - how would THEY know I had no Smart meter..... and how did they get my phone number, no prizes for guessing sorry. This number was used for a scam call supposedly from BT Internet. I think it is probably an ordinary valid number, Scammers seem able to hijack numbers and this is one of several received recently from other members

SCAM SPAM Fraud Got a call on 21/08/2023 at 11:51 from this number. A woman was trying to tell me i have some offer from three. When i asked her if she is a scammer as i am not with three, she put down the phone instantly. When i call back the number, it just beeps two times and go off. They are scammers for sure! Be aware!

SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.

Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.

Frankly what’s the point of the ICO/Action Fraud/7726 text reporting and all the other options Surely their easy to locate with todays technology and number of reports of this and similar numbers!

This is a scam caller, pretending to be from O2. - They tell you that they have sent two texts and can they have the code. When you read the texts they are from O2. It says that if someone calls and asks for this code THEY DO NOT WORK FOR O2. Avoid at all costs.

Fraud I believe this was an attempt to get my debt card information. I typed in the url filled up with an all red page telling me this was a fraudulent site and to not contact or talk to these people. UNSAFE SITE trying to get my credit card, social sec. info etc. It had the phone number 208-537-7505 which if you call it, get nothing but what sounds like a fake ring - No one picks up. The URL they sent in the text led me to the warning site. The text will ask if you used your card and the amt charged.

I found this number on my 11 year old daughters phone and when I checked it out found that it belongs to a 40 year old man named Ali who met my daughter through Instagram and was trying to get her to meet up with him - reported to police who are now investigating and have arrested the individual for interview - he is VERY DANGEROUS beware

I got a call this morning from this same and it sounded like an Indian person on the other line asking for my name and then it immediately dropped. I call back the number and the voice note confirmed that the number has been theft from another user and is now been used for SCAM and that none shouldn’t entertained it. I’ve now blocked this number on my phone. SCAM
