When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. This number called me at 7:36 am on a Monday morning! I'm a retired person so I don't get up before the sun and at 7:36 am the sun is still in bed in Greater Manchester. I did jump out of bed but didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. Apparently the call originated in Thanet which Google tells me is in Kent. As I know of no reason why someone from Thanet (which I'd never even heard of) should phone me at an ungodly time of day I can only assume this was a scam call.

This number calls 2 to 4 times a week when answered it just makes a crackling noise when you ring it back it`s allways engaged this happens at random times sometimes in the night it`s anoying.

Missed call - Missed the call. Rang back out of curiosity and got the message "This number has been suspended through suspected misuse or fraud. If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.
Claimed to be o2 offering 30% discount, previously checked with o2 and this number is not associated with them.
