The person told me they were from sky and it was regarding my internet connection . I told them I would not give out my passwords or be clicking on any links in my computer as too many scammers claiming to be from this company and said if I need to talk to sky I will phone them myself. Then I hung up.

It is someone you know who is putting your number in and they can hear your conversation with the machine!!! I had this done to me this morning. Information Call from HMRC telling me that I will face legal action and to call another number immediately. Checked with HMRC and they said that they wouldn’t leave a recorded message, text message or email regarding this.

This number keeps calling my elderly mother day and night. Saying there s a fault with her computer and they can fix it. Told her to get it set and they d call back in 30 mins. I ve told her not to answer now and reported to action fraud line.
I am really fed up with these type of constant calls, I am ex-directory and with the Telephone Preference Service I have complained about this number to Ofcom and will keep doing this every time I get these unwanted calls. It s about time the government did something about this constant harassment.
SCAM From Inland Revenue (so a voice said) and, if I don’t press 1, a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I didn’t press one and suggest no-one else does. Obviously a scam!

My parents, both in their 80 s, have been receiving calls from this number. Often early in the morning and in close succession, there is silence, giggling, but no communication - very disconcerting for them. Since neither of them are in great physical form, it is extremely worrying that these nuisance calls are causing them great discomfort. What can be done about it?
