Some one called on my partner's mobile phone - a number that she shares very rarely if not at all. Toby, the caller, announced that my partner had won the lottery, to which she responded, "Oh, really? Do you want my banking details?" At which point 'Toby' hung up. Appears to be a phishing scam. I got an ebay order confirmation for an item I did not order. This number was given for reporting fraudulent purchses. t sounds like an Indian caallcentre, and they attemted to get me to download Anydesk, in order to access my computer!!

SPAM Said they were calling from BT and tried to direct me to press one to redirect. They said that I was using my internet illegally. Look out for this call.

SCAM - pretending to be from HMRC and accusing me of tax fraud.

SCAM - Apparently they were from Sky trying to test my broadband speed. Notwithstanding I am not with Sky, I asked them to tell me my own name and postcode and they hung up. How rude! I assume the next step would be to access my computer to 'fix' the issue.

They knew my name and said they'd been authorised by the government to handle a legal case against FX Trading. I knew it was a fraudulent phonecall when they wanted ID and statements from me. My phone picked up that they were calling from Rome but the man clearly said he was working for the UK government. Very dodgy!

I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.

SCAM. Prerecorded message claiming £900 fraudulent payment made from my Visa account, when I answered on their second call today. Parasites should be offended to be compared to these idiots. Blocked.

SCAM First I received a silent call from 028 8505 1239 (to verify a working number?) Then within 5 minutes, I started getting whatsapp messages from a very attractive female profile asking when I was going to visit her using the number 07727214429. Looks like a scam to me.

FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?
