Quiet nobody answers
SCAM Spoke to me for a few seconds to confirm that I didn't sound like an easy target then rapidly cut me off. I can only assume they are scamsters probably not calling from this number, but spoofing it.
Caller who sounded Indian said she was from the telephone preference service and calling to say it had expired as - she was just getting to this - the bank card used had expired. She first asked how the telephone bill was paid. As the service is free I rang off.

It is payday UK. It will be to discuss any outstanding loan you have/remind you of any upcoming payments. I ignored the call most of the month - finally answered it today and they refused to discuss with me as I would not pass DPA. I went on to live chat on their website whom confirmed the call was from them - I have recommended they add the number they call from to their website as google search shows it as a telepest rather than a genuine call. Just been called from this number - thought it was a real human at first, but then realised it was some sort of semi-automated system, pretending to interact with my replies. Claiming to be Injury Claim Law - they have an interesting website, which contains a number of spelling mistakes, so doubt they are anything other than a bunch of low life ambulance chasing chancers!

TPS is useless against these calls which calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility.

Phoned and asked for MD by his first name, totally annoying that they think they are buddies and don t have to use the last name. When asked for full name they do have it so why not use it in the first place. Trying to find out insurance renewal date, politely told them that we are not willing to discuss.
