Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

Fraud - pretends to be HM Revenue Customs and claims that HMRC are investigating you as an individual for tax fraud. When challenged immediately hang up the phone.

I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.

This number called my landline this morning. Indian/Pakistani lady claiming to be from BT. Said my internet speed wasn't up to scratch and did I know how to check the speed. I said I did and checked regularly. She asked when I last checked and what was the speed. I said I checked yesterday and the speed was was what I expected. The call was then ended abruptly from their end. Now blocked.

Had some rude Asian man answer the phone who told me my loan application had been APPROVED......Interesting because I hadn't made one with 'Now Loan' I proceeded to ask questions...this irritated the idiot on the phone who SHOUTED at me! I gave my details to a Fake BBC New story on Facebook about trading software and this company keeps calling me. I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive. They are looking for me to "activate my account and upload £200 on a debit/credit card".
