Mr.Number app blocks numbers that are a reported spam caller this is for andriod not sure on i phone

I Have had this number call my phone Several times,on ringing back the line went dead so i did a little research to find it appears to be connected to an Insurance Company by the name of Adrian Flux.Our car Insurance is due in less than a month we changed last year from Adrian Flux to another company after this i also will not use Adrian Flux Insurance company if they use such tactics as harassment calls ever again as these comments seem to say it is, be aware 01553608625,can become a nuisance call

introduced himself as from TPS, Telephone protection service and then some scam about attaching a box to line to stop nuisance calls which they would charge 50p a week for for 3 years.Awful that they are masquerading as Telephone Preference Service. Why have the police not stopped this obvious fraud, vulnerable and elderly will definitely be taken in by someone saying they are from TPS,i was convinced at first?

Company called something generic-sounding like "UK Data" (can t remember the exact name) asked to speak to my husband saying he may be eligible for compensation "from his earlier work in industry". 08000319178 caller called me stating i won a holiday, my own apartment up to 6 people, that i won, all flighrs are paid, all i got to do is have spending money .... hmmm whats wrong with that .... I had already blocked this number as a "cold caller" on my iPhone but these people are breaking the UK law by circumventing my block action and forcing my phone to ring. Fortunately, I ring fence ALL such numbers in one contact with a generic name "suggesting" they are all a waste of time do don t answer!

My freind had a call on her mobile from 01483 393164 asking to speak to me. When she said i was not there they hung up. Who is this number registered to?

I ve had numerous calls(>25)claiming to be from"Talk Talk". Most calls are a few sec s of silence,followed by automated voice saying "Thank You" & call ends. Others advise choosing keypad options;I ve not tried,in case it s a premium rate/International call back scam. Sometimes caller speaks in broken English,citing:"My Talk Talk account"as reason for call. Repeated requests to remove my number, in compliance with Data Protection Act are ignored.
