They scammed the company I work for by paying for their order for banners by cheque. They then claimed to have overpaid by £2,000. Unfortunately our young owner was unaware they had paid by cheque and as Nat West had the money as cleared on his account, he paid them the 2k direct into their bank account! It s harder for young people who have little knowledge of cheques. Robbing, thieving scammers; what goes round comes round - as in you ll get yours !!

SPAM somebody claiming to be customs and excise saying there is a fraudulent case logged in your name . Teliing you to press 1 at which point I disconnectef call.

They ring you up and launch into their patter about time running out to claim for PPI. I don t know whether they are any use to someone who has actually been mis-sold PPI but probably not, as these people would already know and have lodged their claim - free - with their bank. No-one needs these parasites; certainly not me.

This is one of those "Hi. This is BT. your Internet has a fault" etc recorded scams, which I presume goes on to ask you for your bank details to "reconnect" ...

Call from this number reporting to be from the google trade council!?!? The person at the end of the phone was desperate to get some more information about my business. At the end of a lengthy call the caller became very aggressive and said "p122 off you time waster" and hung up!!

Didnt answer as didnt recognise the number. Will be blocking this number

I ordered from Ideal World. Day after this calls, trying to sell things. I had three calls from them in one day. I ended up this morning after getting another call I was not the person they were asking for. Then asked them to remove my number and stop calling me.

This is a research organisation that will be passed on your details when you use a service like Police, Fire, Local Authority or Social/Housing Associations. They get your number from one of these organisations. You can ask to delete your number and they do comply. If you don t want calls from this number, please be sure to inform the above associations you do not consent to your data being shared. They can be persistent and a nuisance if you don t answer and simply ask to delete your number.

Almost certain this was a scam.
