Called twice in the space of 5 minutes, first time I answered they hung up after I said hello. Second time they asked for me by name, I asked who they were calling on behalf of and they hung up again.
SCAM First I received a silent call from 028 8505 1239 (to verify a working number?) Then within 5 minutes, I started getting whatsapp messages from a very attractive female profile asking when I was going to visit her using the number 07727214429. Looks like a scam to me.

Caller asked me if I remember the car accident I’d had? Well, unless I’m concussed and / or lost my memory as a result of it … then no, I can’t remember it due to not actually having an accident. An Asian (oriental) sounding voice speaking barely understandable pigeon English. Found that number on my bill of august 2022. As if I called it for 4 seconds. No idea on how it got there and couldn't be on purpose as I don't have any connection with UK nor any reason to call that UK number for 4 seconds.
Coronavirus. Claimed to be from government updating records about coronavirus. This is the 4th call with this claim. They ask questions about vaccination and whether you have had the virus. They claim there is some government initiative to pay half of insurance claims relating to the virus. The whole exercise comes to a stop when I won't tell them who my life insurance is with. One call even suggested I make up a provider, so I suggested he make one up. Seems like a phishing scam.
