This is a third party marketing company who call on behalf of ALL mobile providers (T-mobile, Orange, Vodafone, O2 etc) In my case it was T-mobile and I phoned 150 from my mobile and requested my PAC number from their retentions department, intimating that I was leaving them. Came up on phone as 01382746986 then International but definitely Only had the Sundee area code of 01382 no other prefixes. Answering machine took the call and recorded part of the automated message apparently from Amazon Prime saying that unless I contact them 99.99 will be taken from my bank (Never mentioned pounds or dollars or any currency, just 99.99) Obviously a spam call.

Would love to know who they are so I can start calling them for no apparent reason repeatedly. I ve been registered with the TPS since 2003. These numbers are provided by "reputable"service providers and are used (mostly) by independent marketeers on commission from large companies (e.g. BT, Sky, British Gas, etc.) to push products. I do NOT understand why TPS, ICO, or anyone else seems to give a proverbial **** about the nuisance these people are when you have taken every precaution to avoid them.

This is a fake number used by scammers to try to get personal information about you. They sound very official and scary, suggesting legal action against you. I inadvertently provided them with my name, National Insurance number and name of bank before I realised that it was a phishing attempt. The caller spoke with a slightly American accent. I tried to call the number back, but it's invalid.
