Scammer pretending to be from BT. Said hackers were active on my BT account and wanted all kinds of information about my broadband and devices. I'm not with BT so refused and he threatened to disconnect my service if I didn't comply... Absolute scum - beware!
Silent call multiple times a day. Never leaves a message. I called back using mobile. Non English speaker who just kept saying 'sorry, sorry' and then started calling my mobile which is now blocked.
Total fraudscam, using bank ppi, saying they have claimed compensation of £2550 + interest of £1550 from your bank, when asked what the name of my bank is, i said my bank was "bank of paris" (which doesn`t exist), and they didn`t know this, then they gave me a ref number and and id number, saying they don`t ask for bank or card details, and the cash was in a wallet ?, and passed me to another asian, he then asked me the id and ref numbers, which i gave the wrong ones, confused he then asked for my

SCAM E-Mail, I believe this e-mail to be a scam. Informed me that my Currys PC protection plan is up for renewal @ £499.99. The phone number that they suggest I ring to talk about the renewal or cancellation is +44 1348 881008 this on checking, is a company in Dudley, using a [email protected] address. I may be wrong but I don't have any service plans with Currys and I think their e-mail address would include some reference to currys.

This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.
Somebody purporting to be "Ellie from Options" texting me about my non-existent job application, asking for my address, email address, national insurance number, copies of passport, birth certificate, proof of national insurance, copy of my Cscs card (whatever that is!) back and front, 2 x working references. Called "as if" from a Goverment organisation saying national concern over fibreglass having been used as loft insulation, and could I confirm we had that kind of insulation. I asked her to confirm which company she was from and she hung up!
This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money. Caller said name was PERRY HUTHES asked numerous personal questions managed to get my mum and dad's ages and details about house security before my mum managed to get the phone off Dad. suggested working with Warwickshire police - vague enough to not be an outright lie wanted to get someone into the house for a sales visit. hard sell rather than scammer I think, but still very annoying and careful probing for personal details set the alarm bells ringing.
Do not trust these people. They do not work in RyanAir and only scammers
