Received a text on my mobile saying that my Paypal account has been blocked. There was a link to follow to unblock it. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK. Check up with Paypal on another device, through normal channels. I did this on my laptop and it was not sent by them. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT RESPOND.

Furthermore when I block their number they use spoofing to call me from fake numbers. They call at least 2 times a day, every week. Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. Potentially dangerous scam. Got a call from them this morning. In the most Queen's English claiming to be HMRC and stating that there is a tax fraud case against me. Threatening to issue a warrant and arrest me if I don't call them back... All hallmarks of a scam, not addressing me by name and going straight into threats territory.
