Some depressed and dejected sounding indian fellow saying something about a discounted iphone or some nonsense, as per standard procedure I frustrated his efforts and wasted his time until he hung up.

I called back the number and its a cover for a debt helpline, I went through option 1 (Support) as I was going to tell them to do one and the line dropped, so my numbers going to be going to every arse whose parents never loved them, who have become spammers around the world. Suspicious call from this number - they said that my amazon needs confirmation of the last order for the amount around £70. To confirm - press 1, to cancel - press 2. I think is fraud.

He said he was working for Amazon and needed to track down who had ordered 2 mobile phones from Amazon using my bank details (which he had) but had arranged to be delivered to an address that was not mine. To do this he wanted me to go into my bank app and arrange a transfer of £5000 to an account for which he provided and which my bank cleared as existing. I went along with it up to the point of transfer and he then became pressing and agitated.
