Telemarketing. My mobile flagged the number as spam so I answered with my usual 'can i help you' and a woman asked for me, i replied again 'can i help you' and she started talking so fast about some sort of market research. TBH i didnt hear what she was saying cus she talked so fast! When i tried to interrupt her she said something like 'im going to call you everyday' then hung up. Ive blocked the number now.

I had a call from this number telling me my bank had been charged unknown to me

FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

SCAM a gentleman of Indian persuasion or cultural heritage that thought I was female. Which is a nice touch, but last time I scratched an itch all my tackle was very much in place. I loved the Virgin Media representation, however I had the feeling iny belly that he was a scamming bastard. Mysteriously the phone call was cut short which I'm rather disappointed by as I was just about to share some colourful medical issues that I've recently heard from my mother. SCAM - 07846351184 - Supposed to be from my mobile provider - Very strong Indian Accent - Offering, free texts, calls and download for £12.00 monthly - Asked him that if he was from my provider, when did my contract run out and had to repeat that 3 times - he eventually answered saying July - I shouted WRONG at him and he disconnected.

SCAM. Asian speaking, could not understand a word he was saying, apart from the fact that my router isn't working, he couldn't tell me what the problem was, I told him to put the details. In the post or text me the detail. Then I told him to stop wasting my time and get lost........

A false company claims to be about online trading but did not know about very common trading platforms. They have been using lost of different numbers each claims to be the same company, so everytime I block one they use a different number.

Claiming to be calling on behalf of China Embassy!

Call received today (11 Jan) saying from they were from Amazon and did I wish to continue with my Prime subscription or cancel it. Simply responded by asking 'why would you as that'. No response, they disconnected the call.

SPAM Would not state where they are from or who they are until you confirmed your details when I refused to confirm any details they company policy and hung up. Definitely a call center from background noise and when you call back the number goes straight back to that operater without company name total scam

So this number comes up for a Polish restaurant Folk House Zakopane in London. Well they'd have no reason to be calling people out of the the blue and 'Max' claimed he was calling from Carphone Warehouse.

Originally said they were love energy then that changed to love Ltd. The manager I spoke to was rude, and as I said I would contact ofcom re the unsolicited call, he said that’s ofgem you F****ng idiot. I am going to contact ofcom and ofgem to see if they can do anything regarding this business as the manager I spoke to called me an idiot as well as F****ng hitler. He also said he was the owner of the business.
