TAXES / HMRC Suppposedly HMRC chasing unpaid tax. Completely false, they will not ring with this sort of message.

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

SCAM PayPal request for £799.77 stating the money had been sent and to call this number - the email may be from PayPal but the notes on the request certainly aren’t.
Automated call - voice said i have now been charged £500 to my credit card for an Iphone which i dont like or use. Calling the number back and it is not possible to connect the call.

Indian callers (had a few). Either non or very poor english. Not able to understand what they want, have now just blocked the number.
Call centre. Had the wrong name. Hung up claiming a wrong number had been dialled. Now blocked.
Scam! Bank fraud. Tells you two amounts of money have been withdrawn: £900 and another £700. Then asks if this is OK. DO NOT PICK UP. They will just hang up.

Yeah, these idiots keep calling me too. My advice is to play along and waste their time. I spent hours providing them false contact and banking details. They got really angry when they kept asking me to confirm the account number. It feels so good wasting their time when then had full intentions of wasting myne / whilst trying to rob me blind . This is a scam tlf number. It sendes a message with a link to update my Norwegian bank information. The bank would never do this. So this ís a serious scam to get peoples sensitive bank information Txt : "SpareBank: Handling kreves, du må oppdatere informasjonen din https:/.... "
Very annoying, can't understand them (poor English, heavy accent). - I've BLOCKED them.
Also calls are coming from 01780665046, 01780665029, 01780665037,01780665024, all spam unwanted calls always around 4pm onwards. Do not have any appliances on repair or warranty

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse
I answered, and it was silent and then caller ended call.
Caller asked if I was Mr <surname> so must have had me on a list. Hung up when I asked who was calling. Seems dodgy.
