SCAM This is a parcel spam in text form - It was asking to use the link findyourdpdpackage.com. The website no longer exists. It did a couple of months ago when I received the test. I was curious as I wasn't waiting for a package. I did not fill in any information asked for. I meant to report it at the time but forgot. I was clearing out texts when I came across it again. I want to warn about the phone number it came from.
Rang me at 13.35 on 31st March 2023, I didn't answer as I didn't recognise the number but checked it out ojnline. I am presuming it is a scam call

Fraud This number is being used in an attempted fraud. I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.
I was contacted from this number at 16:30 on 10.06.2022. It was a man of Asian origin judging by the accent (Pakistani, Indian, Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi) and said quote: “Hello, is this ***** *****? (he pronounced my real name and surname and I confirmed). I am calling from UP Choice (I never heard about such company). Don’t worry I am not going to sell you anything. IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later, and usually using a different number! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you've just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

Woman called. Said my loft insulation didnt pass, as after a study by the British Lung Foundation found that it could be an irritant and did I want a loft inspection. Told her the house was only four years old. I asked her to identify herself. Said that she worked for loads of eco companies, so I said I trust no one and could she send me an email. She then hung up.

Extremely rude man claiming to be from Virgin. Very persistant, I told him I wasn't interested and hung up, he rang back twice. Very angry.

Fraud - I think? This number rang my home landline (I couldn't reach it, I'm disabled). - I did 1471 + 3 - the number was dead. Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). This number doesn't ring when dialed on landline or my mobile, (but rang me a good 1/2 minutes)? I checked & checked it again. - How's it possible? - Obviously some kind of "con", "scam" ?!

SCAM Had a number of calls recently offering a new iPhone. I don't use or like Apple products so they are wasting their time. 2 calls yesterday from 01208 247201 - missed the 1st, but they rang again withing seconds. As suspected, another iPhone scam call. That block of numbers is owned by Franzcom Telecoms in Bodmin, Cornwall. Something needs to be done to prevent these foreign scammers spoofing UK telephone numbers.
