Pretending to be from Virgin Media; "Hello my name is Carol, I'm calling from Virgin Media" with thick Indian accent and noisy call centre background. Asked which part of London this Virgin Call centre is in. She replied "Canberra", maybe confused with Australia? I asked if she's sure she's not from Kerala or Calcutta to which she replied with "muder fu**er, F**k you".
Yes this is a children s brain damage charity and I have had dealings with them in the past, however received 2 calls from them today 1st one was just heavy breathing left on answer phone? Second call wasn t answered and no message left, shall be having strong words if they phone again.

She said her name was Sarah and claimed she had pressed the wrong number in her list of contacts. Phone rings, 2 seconds of sounds of a busy call centre, then a rather posh Indian says "Mr.M#####k?" One of the usual “I believe you have recently been involved in a car accident” scam phone calls. Number now now on my mobile’s blocked list.
NEVER give ANY information to a caller, no matter how convincing they sound.
Similar story to many of the above, claim that the 3rd party in an accident is making a claim and I should too, very poor line on the one occasion someone did speak otherwise it just hangs up after I answer. Tried calling back and it just goes straight to hold music indefinately.
