Appeared on my mobile contacts and what’s app with a picture of an unwholesome looking man “John”. Deleted but worried about how it got there.

Unless Royal Mail are now being run by scum in Russia, this phone number is sending texts from Guandzha in the Russian Federation to UK mobile numbers stating that Royal Mail have missed a parcel delivery to UK addresses. Of course DO NOT click on the link to rearrange a delivery !

They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.

Fraud The Digital Direct company AVOID IT. They will not provide any services what they promise, and stitched you up with contract against yours rights as the customer. Never received from them any art work and any service they agreed to it. Just taking money from small companies for nothing.

Foreign speaking male asked me to confirm my details as I was due a refund if £202 for over paying my bills over the telephone. He knew my name address but then got upset as I wouldn't give him my date of birth etc

Clearly reading from a script, trying to encourage you to take one of their “deals”. Won’t take “not interested” as an answer. Far Eastern accent, and as soon as I asked him to repeat who he said he was calling from, he hung up. I dialled the number with the prefix 141, but it did not ring out. Clearly a SCAM. Unusually for me, I then dialled the number without the prefix, and that also did not ring at all, even thoigh I had checked that my line was open. AVOID

This number appeared on warning that a Trojan virus was on our computer. I phoned it and felt it was a "bad" number when owner answered. I have since had a dodgy phone call to my mobile.

Scammers got my name form Mail Order Catalogue sais I was due a 70% discount off restaurant meals. Lots of people heard in background 'call centre' , I put the phone down to the Asian accented lady. WHY does the Government let these people trade? BEWARE. just put the phone down or you WILL LOSE MONEY.

My number on contract with o2 taken over by fraudster. O2 cancelled the number but it has been used in attempts to access my credit cards. Also possibly being used as a debit card app. number. Police and Action Fraud are aware.
