Insurance Asked if I wanted to switch Life insurance to see if there was a better deal or checking if im paying too much

I ve had numerous calls(>25)claiming to be from"Talk Talk". Most calls are a few sec s of silence,followed by automated voice saying "Thank You" & call ends. Others advise choosing keypad options;I ve not tried,in case it s a premium rate/International call back scam. Sometimes caller speaks in broken English,citing:"My Talk Talk account"as reason for call. Repeated requests to remove my number, in compliance with Data Protection Act are ignored.

08000319178 caller called me stating i won a holiday, my own apartment up to 6 people, that i won, all flighrs are paid, all i got to do is have spending money .... hmmm whats wrong with that .... got a txt from this num telling me my lloyds bank account has been suspended,i dont have a lloyds bank accounnt, it tells you to phone 02036953542.its deffo a scam.

This is the HP support number. I had been speaking to them about an issue with my HP laptop, so they did have a legitimate reason to call me a few days ago, but the case had been closed so I chose not to take this call.

I was unable to answer the call, as I was on a video call, but this number seems to have become highly active this morning (10/11/2021), and has been labelled as a scam call on other number look-up sites.

I had already blocked this number as a "cold caller" on my iPhone but these people are breaking the UK law by circumventing my block action and forcing my phone to ring. Fortunately, I ring fence ALL such numbers in one contact with a generic name "suggesting" they are all a waste of time do don t answer!
