I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Telephone call from 01505 340340 on 3 March, 2023. Recorded message from unidentified "bank" regarding unspecified charges. Option to select number to process call onwards, probably to enable fraud. Obviously terminate telephone call and block number.

Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Very odd and certainly not into giving my views on our amazing NHS to a country that wants to bloody buy it off us!!

This company re sale web domains at inflated prices, access your details online with no prior connection. They was operating under a different name, I guess went bust and setup again. They gave me two names of companies hosting my domain, neither of them was correct, seems like a chancer.
