The text had a code number that they wanted to "prove I was the account holder. I'm sorry. This is an obvious scam. They'd use that code to hijack my account, change the address, and order as many high end phones and tablets as O2 would let them. Fraud. they are impersonation other company details. please be aware. they called trying to sell a personal loan using Finance and Investment Solutions ltd name. I have been told by FCA that these individual cloned this company and no related with this company.

I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! Automated call reference an order for ear pods from Amazon saying my order was on hold as my credit card needed confirmation. Disconnected call and blocked, didn’t make an order for ear pods.
Automated voice says a large charge made against our Visa card… We don’t have a Visa card, so it’s a scam call.
Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.
