Told me to not talk to my solicitor or anybody else about the call. Called me after posting an ad on Gumtree. Used my name and car model from the ad and asked about an accident.

I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

Called me twice today but didn t answer as don t recognise the number

Had a call today saying that they were a new company setting up in my local area and they already had a company in Leeds. Asked me if I drank water. Said no - he was surprised! Then said he didn t blame me. Asked if I would answer a few simple questions to be entered into a prize draw for a holiday. Told me if I won (which was very likely) then he would deliver the tickets to me in person at my house tomorrow. This number left a txt message at 10:40, saying “PostOffice: Sorry we missed you today at 8:05 AM on 15/09. Please schedule a redelivery for your parcel via https;//redelivered-depot.com “ I have copied the message to the letter. I was up at 8:05 so would definitely have heard the doorbell if it had been rung. Why did the message take 2 1/2 hrs to be sent, I tried the link, but it doesn’t work. So I don’t know whether there is a parcel or not? Map shows dot in middle of a field nr Clitheroe. Worrying.
