Fraud - I was called off one number trying to get a security code that would reset my O2 account. when I refused to give the one time code to the lady she got aggressive. I said I would check with O2 customer service and if everything was ok would take up the offer. I was given this number as O2 customer services - IT IS NOT. I reported to O2 (202) and they confirmed that this was Fraud, and if I gave them the code they would have had access to my O2 account.

Called to verify if Id bought £100 Amazon voucher, very unprofessional voice. Knew it was a scammer so hung up and blocked number. Verified by others experiences.

SCAM Claim to be from the local court regarding a fake court case.

Fraud Call centre, pretend to be "running security" for Virgin Broadband, call to say they have "seen problems on the line". When I told them I wasn't on Virgin, they waffle on about how they do the security for all broadband suppliers, because Virgin supplies the lines for them all. I told them I was on Grain, and then they just imediately hung up. Obvious fraud scam.

Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.

I received a call 2 days ago from 07477423611 I do not answer if I dont know I heard the message that was left from this number and it was the end of a recorded voice saying something like quot if you do not take action we will complain to the authoritiesquot So it is a scam Today I got a call from a similar number 07477853867 I blocked it immediately

Scam call, purporting to be calling from BT with regard to our internet connection. When I suggested to the Indian sounding caller that his call was a scam, he hung up.

Called @ 14.25 on 06/02/2023. Asian/Indian voice claiming to be from 'Traffic Management Services'. Call is purporting to be able to help with an accident within the last 2 years. I haven't had an accident in over 15 years. Told caller to cancel the call for the above reason.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.

Pretending to be from O2 and they send a text message to your mobile with a six digit code in, do not give them this code. Hang up and inform O2 immediately.

Suspected scammer tried to buy a car using PayPal.

SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.
