Received text message from this number claiming to be from the mobile server Three - saying there was a problem regarding my payments and provided a link for further information. This is a spam call.

Automated call ...probably, I didn't answer as it wasn't in my phone contact list, I screened the call & no message left. Can only conclude it was a spam/auto bot type call... now blocked anyway.

Claimed to be the Home Efficiency person for our postcode, implying government approval. These people just want access to your property to sell you products you probably do not need.

This is a call centre in India that uses voip numbers to look like they are in London, it is a scam. I made the mistake of entering my mobile phone number in an add on YouTube for information on how to make money from trading, been getting these calls ever since, they don't give up, they change the numbers every day so searching on phone lookup sites don't show bad reviews. Once they have your number they call every day, the voip numbers run sequential, mostly London, started off Birmingham, then Mancheste

Woman called. Said my loft insulation didnt pass, as after a study by the British Lung Foundation found that it could be an irritant and did I want a loft inspection. Told her the house was only four years old. I asked her to identify herself. Said that she worked for loads of eco companies, so I said I trust no one and could she send me an email. She then hung up.

I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. Microsoft from Reading called from this number and repeated the call 3 times despite scepticsm. Apparently all our devices have been hacked. It was difficult getting them off the phone but although they were convincing I think this was a scam caller that tried to keep us on the line and did so for 12 mins!!
