SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. SCAM - I answered as they had called a couple times. I did not speak and there was no-one at other end the even said hello - hung up without speaking and blocked them.

This number called me in today on my landline at 12:45. I answered, they hung up. I rang back, it rang then disconnected. I live in Scotland, the number is from York. I used my mobile to call, same result. What was the point of the call if they have no intention of communicating. There is a point but I am left wondering what!
