Pretending to be from Virgin Media Cyber security department, informing me that there is someone in California using my IP address for illegal purposes, but he would help me sort it out. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.

Received text msg to ring 0300555---- I did not open the the msg up fully. It said my account was over £250 in debt. I don't know of any account I have anywhere!!!?
SCAM: Caller explained someone in Reading had created a fake Amazon account my name, & wanting to buy an iphone 12 which would cost me £700. They didn't think I had ordered it and so wanted to know if I was accepting the order or not. I said I was not giving anything out over the phone wother than I hadn't ordered the phone. He started giving instruction for me to access my laptop. He swore at me when I said I wasn't going to help and he hung up

Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. Coronavirus - this is a scammer making fraud calls under the pretence of calling on behalf of the health service doing market research. Under MRS T&C a company is obliged to reveal the name of the company hes calling from and this guy didnt want to do that. It is some coward sitting at home making false calls, harassing people, he should come out of his phone face-to-face and then i will show him how to hide behind the phone and harass people.
