I was called from 02080890854 in Norway today. I didn`t answer because of unknown number. Seems to be the right thing to do.

Pretending to be from BT cyber fraud department.

Asked if I was interested in particular insurance, I told them I don't discuss private information with anonymous callers , they said ok and they would email me , ..... then asked for my email address.... I said you should have it already ...... long pause

SCAM Call received today 15th Feb 2021. Computerised call. Pretended to be from HMRC and that my name was recorded as a tax fraud and a warrant would be issued against me if I didn't press 1 now. I am an accountant in practice who has dealt with the HMRC for 30 years. This a SCAM. The HMRC will never call you like this on such matters. If you do owe money to HMRC only pay them through the secure channels listed on the government website and ensure it is your reference you are making the payment against.

Told me I had been in an accident that wasn’t my fault. I told them it was an unsolicited call and that I what opted for telephone preference service and this call was not requested or wanted. They hung up!!!

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. As people do search for this number, it should be used, so be aware - and checked also similar numbers, sometimes reported as ambulance chasers - car accidents (=insurance business).
