Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! Apparently someone from "credit investigation" saying I have "several debts" but that they know "I'm paying them off" and attempted to get more information from me. Absolutely a massive scam caller, no company name given and just factually incorrect. They're fishing for some poor person who's in debt that will believe the nonsense they're saying. Be very careful and do not give them information, they had my full name. Scammer/Phishing.

Was called out of the blue about the crypto world trade centre scam, wanting to send me an email to get my funds back - sounds really dodgy apparently they are Virgin Tech - no website, I rang the number back, it connected to ananswerphone message but with no mention of the company. Alarm bells.

WARNING: 01542832293, supposedly from SKY telephones with a refund of £202 for being over charged in previous months. We don't have any SKY account. Accent was so thick I could barely understand anything he said, but he wanted my details. I said I was not giving any details over the phone to someone that I did not know and wanted someone to talk to me as clearly as I was talking to him. I waited, the line was open, and he hung up. DO NOT GIVE PERSONAL DETAILS OVER THE PHONE.

There was a voice message saying it was something to do with a bank (didn’t listen properly as I thought it was a scam call) decided to dial the number as it is my area code and found it was a number connected to the hospital. Think it’s a scam call.
