Have been having a rash of calls in our local area from people calling claiming to be from various 'car insurance ' or 'legal service' firms saying 'you were in an accident' asking about wanting to claim for damages. Got a call from this number today. The caller said he was from Orange (even though they apparently only go by the name EE anymore so I was already wary). He said he wanted to offer me a reduced bill by combining my EE broadbad and my BT telephone line. He then asked for some personal details, which I was not going to offer him so I just rang off.
