** Scam call ** Automated voice pretending to be from VISA (?) calling about cancelling a possible online shopping fraud transaction - "press 1 immediately if you want to cancel the payment".

I'm assuming this is a SCAM as indicated by previous reviews. Didn't answer and they didn't leave message.
They told me there were from EE and tried to sell me a phone deals, so I'm not sure if someone is using the book shops number?
This was sent as a text & is a known spam, saying, “Mum I smashed my phone & am using friends phone to message you. Please message me on WhatsApp at 07895846578 As I just had a 2 hour call from my son this morning, this is even more rubbish!!

He said there seems to be some fraudulant activity on my account and I should move all my money into the main account and then he would change all my account numbers and sort codes He sent messages from 08000 123 123 and he confirmed Santander will always use this number as it uses the 123 from their 123 account. Remember: Your bank will never ask you to move money!
This number called, asked me if I was (they said my first name) When I replied "yes" they said they would remove me from the database and hung up. I haven't called the number back incase of some sort of scam

SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.

Be careful dealing with this number. He is acting as a professional and will show a lot of fake proof for you to believe and get your trust. He is a very dangerous in person. Pretending to call from my bank about fraudulent transactions on my account, those transactions were taking from my account, someone had access to my card number, didn't ask me any security questions, just telling me my account issues, and didn't sound professional, was an English man, I hung up and phoned my real bank instead.Fraud

Just hang up as there is no identification to suggest they are real and there are no confirmed names or card details to ensure it is you or your card.
