Found this number on my phone tried to ring it but got disconnected tone so i presume it is a scammer.
TAXES / HMRC Auotmated call claiming to be from the HMRC fraud investigation dept. threatening to suspend my national insurance number because of criminal activity. Very keen for me to press 1 to be connected to an investigator.
SCAM / SPAM Called and introduced herself as Sarah Johnson (false name most likely). Said I've been involved in a car accident the last 2 years, when I stated that's a false information, she just hung up (no apology, no information provided, no further chat about). I've tried to call the number she called me from, it looks it automatically blocking the call ... already checked the number on google, no specific information about. FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!
