Pretending to be from Virgin Media; "Hello my name is Carol, I'm calling from Virgin Media" with thick Indian accent and noisy call centre background. Asked which part of London this Virgin Call centre is in. She replied "Canberra", maybe confused with Australia? I had already blocked this number as a "cold caller" on my iPhone but these people are breaking the UK law by circumventing my block action and forcing my phone to ring. Fortunately, I ring fence ALL such numbers in one contact with a generic name "suggesting" they are all a waste of time do don t answer!
