This number seems to be reported as Virgin Bank, Clysesdale Bank and lots of other banks, including Yorkshire Bank (as shown on my phone) my I don't have a Yorkshire Bank account. So I am very suspicious of this number, how can it be for many different banks?! I think it's spam!

SCAM!! Called saying someone was trying to buy an iPhone on my account. They sent me an Amazon authentication code and wanted me to tell them what it was! I think this is so they could gain access to my account. Very scary they could do this. I have now changed my Amazon login details!

Claimed to be from reputable finance institution with loud dance music playing in the background, wanted to make sure I got back money I had invested, some nonsense about block-chain, called him out as a fraud and he said the music was because it was Friday afternoon! Utter BS! He started talking nonsense and generally being cheeky so I asked him to remove my number from his database, advised he would, asked if the music was loud enough for me etc, told him call wasn't costing me anything, he hung up, CLOWN

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. I've had two calls from this number on my work mobile. I missed the first attempt but answered the second a few minutes ago. She claimed to be calling from Curry's PC World in London and gave a London post code. Strange then to have a number with an Edinburgh area code! It appears that it's trying to sell phones. Very noisy call centre and a very bad line indicating that the call was coming from overseas, probably India judging by the accent. Block the number so you're never bothered by it again.
