waiting for important call.. phone rings, nope not who I'm expecting, woman told me she had purchased my number and I asked her to delete it, and that I had to go as waiting for IMPORTANT call.. she says.. "why are you being so RUDE" lol.... I cut call and within 15 seconds they rang again..I ignored. try to call them from my secure landline, but they "don't accept anonymous calls" joke

If you speak then the line is detected as 'a voice phone line' and logged, a scammer will then call you later! If you don't recognize the number calling - DON'T SPEAK FIRST, JUST LISTEN. If you don't hear anything and after a short pause the line goes dead, then you have just successfully escaped being scammed! Well done. THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

Someone called "John" with a strong Indian accent supposedly calling form Virgin Media about my broadband speed. If you dial this number it gets you to Leeds General Infirmary...

This call, which is dropped when you pick up, is followed by another call shortly afterwards from 01501 484552, which is also dropped on pick up. I called them, they were eager to sell me something and ignored my request to stop calling me.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036345xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance claims, PPI, accident chasers, financial services (loans). Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Claimed to be from a life insurance company. Company does not exist.
