Scam! I received a call which started with a voice message saying that if I wanted to avoid legal action I had to speak to an operator immediately. The woman I spoke to said her name was Agent Sophine and she was part of the investigation team, even though she kept changing the name of her department. She was very aggressive and spoke very fast. SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.
