BT Call Guardian took care of it as the spammers/scammers will never bother to 'announce' themselves... they can't when they're using autodiallers to try and connect to as many number as possible. This is a number that is in a series of numbers from 0843566xxxx on rotation that I have been blocking for 3+ years. It’s clearly cold calling for insurance as I have answered a call however most calls ring 3 times before ending the call. Very difficult to track. And every time you block one number, another variation of the first 7 numbers appears a few days later. Very annoying. Very frustrating.

Definite scam. I looked up Starpro - Aberdeen. They call off different numbers all based in Aberdeen and there's loads of people stating that they were scam artists trying to claim to be a phone company and asking for details.
'Simon tried to deliver a package this morning. but no-one was at home.' I was directed to an http website to rearrange a post office delivery. (I did not go there) - I have no deliveries due. -I was at home. -The post office have never contacted me in this way before. -I have had similar messages from 'Simon' from different numbers in the past. Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. Called me to say there was a job available and put me through to another number who was going to give me details of the role. I was then contacted by a Carlo by WA with a pic of a woman The role was too good to be true, 30 mins a day, remote working for an unbelievable sum of money I told them I needed to think about it and they should give me more time to think about until next week. Well, the Carlo guy kept texting me randomly - first asking how I was the next day, then sending me pics of aNY ‘library’
Received a woman’s voice message from Careline leaving a message for me by my first name. Stating I should phone back about my brother mentioned by his first name. Phoned back several times., but got no reply. However, it turned out that my family member had been taken to hospital. He was on an emergency system at his home as he lives alone. Has to make own enquiries to verify message was not a scam.

An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.
He calls himself Dr. Paul Wilson (the same name on Facebook). He is using others’ pictures as his identity and send messages. Become friends and then asks for money. Be careful.
