Called me claiming to be Scottish Power, wanted me to tell them my address, saying I had a debt on my account. I asked them to tell me the address to which they claimed the debt was overdue on, but they couldn't. When I told them that I have never had an account with Scottish Power, they became very aggressive and eventually told me to f..k off and hung up on me.

Apparently I was due to compensation £££m having been conned by Mecedes about emissions. Told him I had seven Mercs, was a little busy and could he just put the money into a plain envelope and leave it underneath a bench at Fenchhurch Street station without passing GO, and I would have my butler pick it up later. He cut me off without confirming. The number is now blocked. Sense a potential scam.

This phone number is a scam, recording initially saying funds gone from your bank to pay Amazon £500 and also £700 to someone else. Select 2 to talk to someone, sounds like a call centre with an American with a strong accent. They queried my birth date and rang off. Beware a scam.

SCAM, I rcvd a call from a guy who claimed he was from BT and that we had a problem with our line etc. Sadly for him we have nothing to do with BT and when I confronted him & had a go at him and asked him never to call our number again he called me a ba.....rd. SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Why don't they get a proper job.

Called purporting to be from EE and asked about renewal and if I'd like a free phone upgrade. Given that the phone in question is on a business contract and recently upgraded, I would deem this to be a scam. The caller hung up very quickly once I said I didn't want an upgrade.
