i have had a call from this number and when I answer they put the phone down. There was also a call from another mobile number shortly afterwards doing the same thing putting the phone down when I answered from 07760 754834 both calls seem to have come from the Manchester area.
Someone saying they where from a company called UK direct. Asked if they could ask me 5 quick questions. Then proceeded to ask me more and more personal questions before hanging up once I questioned them.
Says he's from BT, said I'm not with BT and he argued about who my privider is, don't know the purpose of his call

Call center said they were dangers on my life insurance. When I said I was at work which I was and couldn’t talk they put the phone down on me.

She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.
