My record will show that I have been alert through two telephone contacts from my sheltered housing flat in ensuring that my bills are timeously paid with appropriate assurances. I, no-one I know, and no-one in their right mind would answer an unknown number. After searching through hospital numbers for fear it might be a dear friend trying to get in touch I found tonight the 10 or more calls came from my energy supplier with whom prior arrangements were amicably in place. Next time, if someone asks who I am, I ll ask who they are before hanging up.
I am a few days late with a payment to Very so the credit company (shop direct) repeatedly phone my home and mobile. They still ring even though I ve explained the situation and paid half the monthly amount and have agreed to pay the other half in a weeks time. I just don t answer the phone now.

A call with an automated message about a case being filed against me by HMRC. I have barred the tel. no. (01618 506868) as a scam. Be aware that if you call back, someone might answer as if HMRC. The foreign gent sounded unsure of himself when I queried his being with HMRC, so I laughed and said "I don t think so!"and hung up.

Called claiming to be Scottish Power. I stupidly went through the security questions (address and DOB) as I am in process of leaving Scottish Power.
