I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!
Rude out of country call. Asked my name and became rude when I asked what it was about. Annoying usual data collection/confirmation spam call.

Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. They were very nice at 1st & careful to explain how they wanted my bank details, (not a debit/credit card) & that that is safe, (I discovered that it's true), but they were very, very, insistent, determined & wouldn't take no for an answer! Unsure whether it was a scam call or not - talking about our internet connection, disconnecting etc.... couldn't find this number on the providers website. Hence, I just redialled the number and it doesn't exist - what a surprise, not!

Purporting to be from bank Fraud Department but no specific bank named. Advising that purchases on Amazon for considerable amounts of money have been made. Asking to press one of two choices to get help.

Phoned this afternoon. An automated voice declared that it was a call from "security at your bank", so at least the scammer doesn't even know which bank he is supposed to pretend to be. Allegedly, two probably fraudulent card transactions had been detected, one for £300 to Amazon and one of a transfer abroad of £1,100. A menu of options was read out, at which point I hung up.
The usual fake "bank" call about two payments from Amazon and somewhere else. I never buy from Amazon out of principle.

Recorded message about a charge on my paypal account and to press 1 to cancel. I pressed 1 to wind them up and she asked me if I wanted to cancel it. When I said yes she probably reconised my voice from other calls and hung up on me.

Rang twice ithout leaving a message so blocked. If their call was important they'd have left me a nessage.
Women with English accent told me I had Aviva insurance 22 per month and it was due for a renew As I said I wasnt interested she hang up I dont have any Aviva insurance

Claimed to be Curry’s PC would, immediately hung up as they have no reason to call me and it was a foreign call centre

Spam caller. No one was on the line, instead, it was an automated message saying it is HMRC and that legal action will be processed if I don't contact them. This is from a mobile number that doesn't show up on searches.
