Automated call telling me I have transferred £5000 abroad and £300 to Amazon - but no mention of who they are just press 1 to connect to an operator!!!

Automated message claiming to be from Amazon Prime about charging my renewal to a Visa credit card. Asked me to press 1 or 2 for customer services. I hung up and checked my Amazon account. My subscription doesn't expire until July and I don't have a Visa card registered with Amazon. Clearly a scam.

Lady claimed that unknown to myself I have a bitcoin account open in my name with 4.5 bitcoin in it. All I needed to do was prove my identity and she would kindly sort out how I could activate the account and claim my money. It had apparently been opened accidentally when I had clicked on an advertising link. Isn't that just too good to be true?

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. Call received at 12.56 05 05 2023. On my Ex directory landline? I answered 'hello' that was immediately followed by 'a recorded message'? about banking security being breached (that's all) - but then they hung up. Number now blocked. Suggest call treated as 'Dangerous'!

A gentleman called me in this number - he had lots of info about me which I didn’t like- he basically said I was due some money from a bitcoin account but I needed to open a bitcoin wallet to receive the money - I asked him to send me all the details via email ( he already had my address) and as yet I haven’t received an email - it is worrying when they know so much about you - it is easy to think it is ligit… be careful …

Call is from Vietnam, as with all 0843, it hangs up don’t call it just block it and delete it.
