I got a text from this number pretending to have a verification number for Microsoft. I refreshed the website and got Microsoft to send me another a verification number. When Microsoft text you, it will say MICROSOFT. If a mobile number comes up, DO NOT USE THAT CODE.

I have been called several times yesterday back to back from firstly a London number twice, then twice from private number and this one today. They all start by saying am I ****** when I ask who they are they mumble something then ask me if I own or rent my property. The person who called today was female and I could actually understand what she said, except for the initial mumble. The first two London calls where listed as suspected spam, however, some of calls in this category have been bona fide.

Phone today 27/07 purporting to being doing a survey. Assumed I was a tenant and that I needed repairs doing on my property. When I asked if they were giving me money to make repairs on my property she became flustered and said sorry they were only speaking to tenants and ended call. Sounded like a young asian woman with call centre noises in background.

Had scam automated call for bank transactions.
Overseas noisy background call centre female claiming to be from ‘the technical department’ not a specific company just technical department. Red flags were didn’t know my name or address. I challenged her told her she was talking rubbish about being a technical department. I used a few choice profanities to which she called me a few! I asked her if those were technical terms and she hung up! Obvious scamming call. The call was at 08:45 on a Saturday.

This company reported to be Heating Services, claims to act on behalf of British Gas Homecare and deals with all their support services. They rang to say they are reducing the cost of my homecare cover and including plumbing and electricity repairs. All I need to do is amend my Direct Debit. This is a company scamming customers as they had all me details.

Received a woman’s voice message from Careline leaving a message for me by my first name. Stating I should phone back about my brother mentioned by his first name. Phoned back several times., but got no reply. However, it turned out that my family member had been taken to hospital. He was on an emergency system at his home as he lives alone. Believe a scam - I had a letter which says it is from Lloyds Bank ( we do have a Lloyds Business a/c) but when rang this number on the letter they couldn't find our account by searching via name or post code or by ref number on letter - they asked for our account number which I didn't give or if I had a business card with me - I hung up - the phone number location for this number given above is a field near Blackburn in Lancashire but the address on letter is Edinburgh
