SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Swearing dialogue commenced, said they were from Sri Lanka which seems nonsense. Accent sounded Indian. Called back on different number

Hi, just had a call from an Asian bloke who said my Internet connection had wires crossed in my house and its causing a network problem. He claimed to be BT. I didn't tell him that BT don't run the network it's Open Reach. Also didn't tell him I'm not a BT customer. I ended the call.

IPSOS MORI was calling me for polling and survey. They normally held student surveys. They were calling me constantly. And when I did not reply, they started sending email invitations to me. They claimed to be from a national student survey. They knew my name already and were asking for my birthday. They wanted me to participate in their survey. I told them I had already done the survey online, but they said I was lying.

He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.

I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). The ombudsman have no reason to be directly looking at my bank account without the bank ever contacting me. Strange behaviour. Wanted me to spell my details back to him as if data gathering.
